What does it mean to build a website? And how does that process look from start to finish? I have the answers. Before jumping into the how-to of your new site, however, it helps to have an overview of the entire process, so let’s start at the beginning.
Step 1: Understanding your requirements
My process emphasizes speed and agility, as I take data-driven decisions, release more frequently, and continuously improve from the start. I know what you want from your website in order to get the most out of it.
I work closely with your team to determine what you need. I then translate that information into web code that creates and sustains the desired experience for all site visitors. I create multiple layouts for the site using wireframes or prototypes and once I’ve got something you like, I then develop it by turning it into a functioning web page or mobile app.
At this stage, I will go through each layout (or prototype) and put together custom design sketches so that you can approve one. Next, I’ll put together a detailed visual mockup that helps define every button, icon, image and element on the site
Step 2: Designing the concept
Designing your site is the first and most important step. Working with my customer to find out what they want to convey, how much information they want to display, and what their goals are for the site. I then work with you to create a custom design that fits your needs. In addition, I improve your digital performance from day one, then accelerated growth to exceed your goals.
Step 3: Building the website
I deliver value more frequently by replacing big bet projects with continuous improvement and an agile methodology. Data-driven decision making enables rapid iterations, and I deploy the right expertise at the right time to enhance and extend the capabilities of your own team.
